Several TypeWright users, especially faculty that use TW in their classes, have asked for advice on coordinating several users working on a single document.  While our development team works to incorporate group editing into TypeWright, we have developed a "How To" using the "Group" functionality of 18thConnect.

Sections 1 and 2 of the guide cover setting up a Community type group, and is a good place to start for setting up any group.  In Section 3 you will find instructions for setting up a discussion thread for a group, and then linking the discussion to the TypeWright editor of a particular document.  The guide gets more specific about group management in Sections 4 and 5.

This guide, although written for use coordinating TypeWright projects, generalizes easily to other 18thConnect Groups, and can be accessed from the "What Is 18thConnect" pages, under the "TypeWright" heading of the Table of Contents side bar.
